My Story
I embarked on my journey in 1989 when I completed a National Diploma in Clothing Design at Durban Technikon. From there, I rose to manage a renowned design studio, serving top brands like Woolworths, Pick n Pay, Edgars, Truworths, and Fochini’s.
In 1999, I ventured into the hospitality industry, opening and managing a charming restaurant in the delightful seaside village of Pringle Bay. This experience of being part of a close-knit community brought me immense joy. However, in 2005, I made the decision to sell the business as I had secured the exclusive distribution rights in 2003 for CROCS footwear in Southern Africa. In 2009, CROCS Inc. acquired my company, and I continued as the head of sales and marketing for three more years before stepping down in 2011. Being part of such a globally renowned brand was an incredible journey, and I take pride in my contribution.
In 2011, I embraced a nomadic lifestyle as a freelance brand and web designer, exploring different parts of Asia while building my freelance business. Though I often retreated to my beloved home in beautiful Betty’s Bay, I continued crafting exceptional brands and websites.I am grateful for the diverse experiences that have shaped my career, and I am excited to bring this wealth of experience to your project.
